Outgoing Email: When are Notifications Sent and Where do They come from?

Currently you can be notified via email about the following events:

Appointments

  • When an Appointment less than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted
  • When an Appointment more than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted

Work Orders and Assignments

  • When a Comment is added to a Work Order that is assigned to me
  • When a scheduled Work Order Assignment less than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted
  • When a scheduled Work Order Assignment more than 24 hours away is created, changed, or deleted
  • When a Work Order assigned to me is changed (not including changes to items in the Work Orders)
  • When a Work Order assigned to me is deleted
  • When an Attachment is added to a Work Order that is assigned to me
  • When one of my unscheduled Assignments is created, changed, or deleted
  • When the status changes on a Work Order that is assigned to me

Work Orders Related to Me

Work orders are "related to" an individual when the person is shown in the ‘Related To’ section in the right sidebar on a work order.  A person can become related to a work order by being assigned as the work order's Service Manager, Account Manager, adding themselves manually to the "Related To" list, commenting on a work order, or creating an assignment on a work order.

  • When a Comment is added to a Work Order that is related to me
  • When a Work Order is created and I am related to it
  • When a Work Order related to me is changed (not including changes to items in the Job)
  • When a Work Order related to me is deleted
  • When an Assignment is created, changed, or deleted on a Work Order that is related to me
  • When an Attachment is added to a Work Order that is related to me
  • When the status changes on a Work Order that is related to me
