Release Notes - 2026.009

You'll notice faster lists, improved mobile features, and smoother sign-in and account recovery flows. A highlight of this release is that labor reports are now available directly in the mobile app, so technicians and field staff can check their hours and job history without needing to sit down at a desktop. Other updates make everyday tasks, such as finding and exporting data and getting back into accounts, more reliable and easier to use.

What's New

  • Labor reports now available on mobile: Technicians and field staff can now pull Labor by User, Labor by Customer, and Labor by Type reports right from the mobile app, with the same show or hide price and cost options available on desktop. Reports can also be downloaded as Excel files on both Android and iOS devices, and report access respects each user's existing permissions. This means techs no longer need to wait until they are back at a computer to check hours worked or review job history. Look for the new Reports menu item in the mobile navigation.
  • Time to First Status Change (Smart Lists): A new column shows how long it took a ticket to receive its first status change, helping you track response SLAs directly in Smart Lists.
  • Tax Code on Work Order Items reporting: Tax Code is now available in the Work Order Items reporting dataset, allowing item-level reports to include tax classification for billing and audit purposes.
  • Announcements in the mobile app: Field staff can now view in-app announcements from the mobile interface, so important messages reach crews on the road.

Improvements

  • Faster Recurring Job list: The Recurring Job list now loads more quickly, improving the experience for accounts managing many recurring work orders.

Bug Fixes

  • Exported report times: Exported reports now include time values for date and time columns, so exported start and end dates match the times shown on screen.
  • Equipment thumbnails: Equipment picture thumbnails now display correctly in equipment lists and detail views.
  • Incoming email handling: Adding a rejected incoming email as a comment no longer produces an internal error. A clear message now appears if the action cannot be completed.
  • Deleted work order comments: Deleted work order log comments are now redacted in notification popups, so removed comment text is no longer visible in the app.
  • Custom field sorting: Customer and equipment lists now sort numeric custom fields in numeric order rather than as text, so values like 100, 101, and 1000 appear in the expected sequence.
  • Location history columns: Location history lists now support the same work order custom field columns as customer history, and your column choices are remembered for that view.
  • Customer record editing: Editing a customer record no longer causes an error when optional accounting preferences are missing. The page now saves and loads normally.
  • Incoming email log search: The Incoming Email log search once again accepts email addresses and no longer produces an error when searching by address.
  • Anonymous invoice payments: The anonymous invoice payment flow now handles payment gateway errors gracefully and displays a clear, inline error message if a payment cannot be completed.
  • Duplicate work order prevention: Repeated form submissions no longer create duplicate work orders, so accidental double clicks or repeated submits will not create multiple copies.
  • Mobile assignment defaults: When adding an assignment in the mobile app, the default assignee now correctly reflects the logged-in technician.
  • Portal backup codes: Portal users can once again copy or download backup codes and enlarge QR codes from the Portal settings pages.
  • Lead technician report permissions: Report permission controls were refined so account owners can restrict lead technicians to viewing only their own labor on reports when needed.

Sign-in and Account Access

We've made several behind-the-scenes fixes to make signing in and account recovery smoother and quieter. These improvements include better handling of two-factor authentication (2FA) changes, clearer messages during portal "Login As" flows, fixes for expired or retried login attempts, and tools for admins to unlock users blocked by failed 2FA attempts. Everything works automatically, so there's nothing you need to do, but if you manage users, you may notice fewer lockouts and clearer recovery behavior.
