Release Notes - 2026.010

This release focuses on accuracy and reliability improvements across maps, billing, scheduling, and work order management, along with routine performance and security enhancements.

Improvements and Bug Fixes

Maps

Map display: Fixed an issue that could prevent maps from loading when viewing work order locations, printing assignment maps, or using the map lookup tool.

Customer Import

Location field updates: Fixed an issue where updating a location's State, Zip Code, or Zone through Customer Import had no effect unless the import file also mapped Street Address or Location Name. Customer Import now applies these updates correctly, and also handles related edge cases around blank address lines and long location names without creating duplicate locations.

Scheduling and Availability

Proximity search accuracy: Fixed an issue where proximity-based technician and vendor search could rank farther-away options above closer ones due to stale location data. Search results now reflect accurate real-world distances.

Work Orders and Attachments

Attachment activity log: Fixed an issue where attachments added when a work order was cloned or created from an incoming email did not appear correctly in the activity log.

Equipment selection performance: Creating or editing work orders is now noticeably faster for accounts with large equipment catalogs. The equipment picker now loads results as you search instead of loading your entire equipment list at once.

Performance and Reliability

Service request lookups: Improved performance and memory handling for high-volume service request lookups, reducing the chance of slowdowns during peak usage.

Platform stability: Fixed a rare issue that could cause temporary unavailability when using certain custom saved views.

Subscription and Billing

Subscription page terms: We've refreshed the subscription page with clearer fee display and simplified legal terms, including a straightforward summary of your plan's renewal terms and a direct link to our Terms of Service.

Default payment terms: Fixed an issue on the Billing Settings page where a newly selected default payment terms value would not save and would revert back to the prior value.

Minor Fixes, Improvements, and Enhancements

This release also includes routine security hardening, behind-the-scenes updates to our support-system integrations, and general reliability improvements to keep BlueFolder running smoothly. There are no breaking changes that require you to update settings or change existing workflows.
