This release introduces new account security with two-factor authentication across the web app, mobile web, and customer portal. We also fixed reported email, display, and workflow issues and added new callback triggers for verified Service Requests.
What's New
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication using an authenticator app is now available across the main web app, mobile web, and the customer portal. You enroll once and complete setup with in-product guidance and help links for installing an authenticator app. Backup codes support account recovery, can be regenerated at any time, and are downloadable in several flows for safekeeping.
You can choose to remember trusted devices to reduce sign-in prompts, and manage those devices from available security settings. Portal sign-in follows the same MFA rules as the main app. Customer-facing apps use 2FA using TOTP as the primary method.
Portal Time Zone and Daylight Saving Time
Portal users can now set their own time zone and daylight saving preferences. Portal displays now respect these settings, and updates no longer overwrite a user’s time zone.
Improvements and Bug Fixes
- Outlook message body: Notification emails opened in Outlook (web and mobile) now display the full message body for no-login recipients.
- Incoming Email log: Filtered views of the Incoming Email log no longer trigger application errors.
- Email processing: Background email processing and logging were hardened for common Microsoft Exchange system mailbox formats, reducing errors processing incoming email.
- Equipment navigation / breadcrumb When you open a child equipment item from a customer’s or location’s equipment list, the breadcrumb or back link to the equipment list again returns you to that same customer or location list. It no longer drops you back to the account-wide equipment list losing your place.
- Log Order Order maintained after loading all log entries.
- Callback Integration Added callbacks when Service Requests are verified: we now support the triggering of callbacks (outbound webhooks) for web requests (portal, web form, Email or similar) after they are verified. You can configure this trigger in settings under integration, callback list for supported plans.
